RESUMO

A proposta deste estudo foi verificar a resistencia á alteracáo ou fratura das limas K, K-flexivel e NiTi de duas marcas, durante instrumentacáo no sistema ultra-sónico em 30 cañáis simulados. Os cañáis tiveram seus tercos cervicais e medios retificados com brocas Gates Glidden e o terco apical instrumentados com limas manuais acopladas no sistema ultrasónico. Os dados encontrados foram analisados pelo teste estatístico de Kruskal-WaIlis, onde o grupo de limas K da marca FKG obteve diferenca estatisticamente significante ao nivel de 5%, quando comparado com K flexível e NiTi da mesma marca e tipo K, K flexível e NiTi da DentspIy-Maillefer. Concluiu-se que em relacáo as marcas e configuracóes, as limas K da marca FKG mostraram-se menos resistentes, mesmo se observando que houve maior número de fraturas com as limas de NiTi. ABSTRACT

The proposal of this study was verify the resistance to the alteration or fracture of the K-files, K-flex and Nickel Titanium files of two trademarks, during the preparation in the ultrasonic system in 30 simulated canals. The canals had his medium and cervical thirds rectified with drills Gates Glidden and the third apical with files coupled in the ultrasonic system. The values found were analysed by the statistical means of Kruskal-Wallis, wich the group FKG K file were difference significant level with 5%, when compared with the groups K-flex and NiTi files of the same trademark and K file, K-flex and NiTi files of the Dentsply-Maillefer. It concluded that in relation the 2 trademarks and configurations, the group FKG K file showed less resistant, even being observed that had bigger number of fractures with the NiTi files.
