RESUMO

A anquilose alvéolo-dentária consiste na fusão anatômica do cemento dentário e/ou dentina com o osso alveolar, podendo acontecer em qualquer período da fase eruptiva, fazendo com que o elemento dentário permaneça em infra-oclusão. O diagnóstico é clínico e depende do exame periódico cuidadoso do paciente por parte do profissional. As opções de tratamento que têm sido sugeridas dependem de fatores clínicos como: a idade do paciente, o grau de infra-oclusão, a presença e localização do sucessor permanente, o estágio de desenvolvimento do sucessor e a severidade dos danos causados pela anomalia. Através do relato deste caso clínico de anquilose múltipla em dentes decíduos de uma criança de seis anos de idade, procurou-se ilustrar os diferentes estágios dessa anomalia e os tratamentos mais adequados. O tratamento eleito está baseado num planejamento adequado, por meio de exames clínicos e radiográficos seqüenciais, visando uma conduta eficaz, para que o desenvolvimento da oclusão e o restabelecimento da saúde bucal pudessem ocorrer normalmente. ABSTRACT

The ankylosis alveolodental is the anatomical fusion the dental cemento or dentine with the alveolar bone, which may happen at any period of eruptive period, causing the infra-occlusion dental element. The diagnostic is clinical and dependent on the periodic careful examination of the patient by the dentist. The options of treatment that have been suggested depend on clinical factors as: the patient's age, degree of infra-occlusion, the presence and location of the permanent successor, the stage of development of the successor and severity of the damage caused by the anomaly. Through the report of this clinical case of ankylosis multiple of deciduous tooth in child is 6 years of age, sought to illustrate the various stages of this anomaly and its treatments more appropriate. Treatment chosen based on a proper planning through clinical and radiographic examination, for a conduct effective, so that the development of occlusion and the restoration of oral health could occur.
