| En la radiografía panorámica, los objetos que se encuentran fuera del pasillo focal son proyectados en diferentes localizaciones sobre la
película y representados con mayor borrosidad en la imagen. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la posición del objeto en el paciente y su proyección en la
imagen panorámica y establecer cuándo produce imagen fantasma. Se efectuó una serie de radiografías colocando una esfera de acero en diferentes posiciones alrededor
de la mandíbula y se registró la localización si presentaba la imagen fantasma.

| In rotational panoramic radiography, objects outside the image layer have different projected locations on the film plane, than does the film
itself and therefore produce a blurred radiographic image. The goal of this study was to analyze the relationship between the position of the object in the patient and
its projection in the panoramic image and analizing when the ghost image is produced. A series of radiographs was made with a steel sphere suspended at various locations
around dry mandibles. The location and shape of the resulting ghost image, if present, was analyzed.
