| Dentomaxillofacial cone beam X-ray CT system CB MercuRay is replacing the 3DX multi-Image
Micro CT at Yokohama Clinical Education Center. The purpose of this study is to compare CB MercuRay to 3DX. The field of view of CB MercuRay is chosen from three modes, the view is larger man that of3DX. PC software attached to CB MercuRay can visualize the acquired data scanned by some three-dimensional reconstruction methods. It can combine some methods according to the case and provide more intelligible information to the Doctor and the patient. CB MercuRay is a very effective for radiological diagnosis, especially for presurgical examination of dental implant. Key words: Computed tomography, cone beam CT, three-dimensional reconstruction. |
