RESUMO

Miìase e uma afecçao causada pela presenca de larvas de moscas em òrgaos e/ou tecidos do homem ou de outros animais vertebrados. Elas se nutrem de tecidos vivos ou mortos do hospedeiro, de suas substancias corporais lìquidas ou do alimento por ele ingerido, desenvolvendo-se como partsitas. A localizaçao preferida de localizacao em humanos è a pele, tendo sido descritas ocorrencias no couro cabeludo, na conjuntiva, na lìngua, na pele do penis e na regiao vulvar. Descreve-se um caso de miìase em paciente com 10 anos de idade, com localizacao no couro cabeludo, nuca e regiao toraco-lombar. Palavras-chave: Parasitas; Miìase; Larvas de moscas; Patologia bucal.

ABSTRACT

Myiasis is a disease caused by the presence of larvae of flies in human and/or other vertebrate animals' tissues and organs. They nourish on live or dead tissues of the host, from its liquid corporal substances or food ingested. in this way they develop as parasites. The files prefer the human skin to lay their eggs. being described several places in the scalp, in the conjunctive, on the tongue, on the penis skin and the vulvar region. In the clinical case reported, a ten year old patient with myiase in the scalp, nape and thoracolumbar region. The diagnosis was clinical, due to the possibility of observing the larvae that kept intercommunication among the cavities. Keywords: Parasites Myiasis Flies; Fly Larvae.
