Resumo

O tumor de células granulares e uma neoplasia benigna de tecidos moles, também de localizacao extrabucal. Na boca, a lesao ocorre mais frequentemente no sexo feminino, entre a quarta e sexta décadas de vida. Clinicamente, apresenta-se como um nodulo submucoso firme. de coloracao amarelada. Usualmente indolor. O tratamento é a excisao cirurgica. Relatam-se dois casos clínicos de tumor de células granulares localizados na língua. O tratamento cirúrgico e o controle pos-operatório. Abstrac

Granular cell tumor is a benign tumor of soft tissue which also occurs in extrabucal sites. The tumor more frequently affects w\omen, between fourth and sixth decades of life. Clinically, the lesión is a firm nodule. yellow and usually asymptomatic. Treatment is surgical excisión. Two cases of Granular Cell Tumor located in the tongue will be reported.
