| A Displasia Ectodèrmica Hipobidròtica è uma doença genètica rara, ligada ao cromossomo X recessivo. Suas manifestações clìnicas podem variar
entre indivìduos, mas habitualmente è caracterizada por hipotricose, hipohidrose e hipodontia. Neste trabalho, è relatado o caso de uma criança com displasia ectodèrmica
hipohidròtica cuja reabilitação bucal protètica foi atingida pela confecção de pròteses parciais removìveis, resultando em excelente estètica, função e adaptação.

| Hypohidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia is a rare genetic inherited as X-linked recessive trait. The manifestations may vary in individuals and
usually is characterized by hypotrichosis, hypohidrosis and hypodontia. A case of a child with hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia with oligodontia is presented. A
prosthetic treatment was performed, achieving satisfactory esthetics and functional results.
