The cardinal signs of Seckel syndrome are pre-natal growth disorders, dwarfism with symmetrical appearance, leptocephaly, metopic and mandibular
retrusion, bird face with a curved high nose, and retardation of mental devlopmenta1. We report two siblings with Seckel syndrome who visited our orthodontic department
with the chief complaint of deep overbite. Both the 1der sister and younger brother were diagnosed with class II div. 2 malocclusion, with marked inferior inclination
of the maxillomandibular anterior teeth, deep overbite, maxillary protrusion, and mandibular retrusion. Treatment of the younger brother was discontinued due to his
marked mental developmental retardation. whereas the elder sister showed a good response to orthodontic treatment.(The Shikwa Gakuho, 108 337-345, 2008)
