ABSTRACT | |
Computed radiography (CR) can be used to obtain cephalograms in dental treatment. However, effects of multi-objective frequency processing(MFP)
on cephalograms has ben received little attention. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the image guality of cephalograms obtained with MFP. In this study, lateral
cephalograms of 5patiants were processed with 9 possible special frequency parameter combinations and image guality of them was compared. A specific combination of special
frequency scales (MRB F-type, MRE 8) was indicated to be adequate to achieve the optimal image quality of the cephalogram. (The Shikwa Gakuho, 109 310-315, 2009)
